Ghost In The Shell [1995]

Purtroppo non ho modo di visionare la versione 4K,in quanto non ho il lettore adatto,ma aggiornerò in caso di novità. Ecco le mie impressioni su questa edizione: parto col dire che grazie al cielo questa non è l'edizione 3 dischi con quella orribile versione 2.0 del 2008,dove una CGI forzatissima a dir poco fastidiosa, prende piede in alcune scene e dove i colori originali sono modificati in un color seppia che farebbe a pugni anche con un cieco. Ora parlando del Bluray, indubbiamente a differenza del DVD la qualità d'immagine è evidente fin da subito ed il restauro del master è palese (e migliorato ulteriormente rispetto alla controparte Bluray della Dynit del 2012,dove l'immagine un filo granulosa non fa gridare al miracolo); Pulizia d'immagine,contorni dei personaggi,saturazione dei colori e della luminosità sono incriminatati in modo davvero piacevole in ogni scena,sopratutto a livello di sfondo ambientale. L'audio DTS 5.1 del doppiaggio storico è stato inserito a volume un po' più basso,ma migliorato decisamente a livello sonoro,che differenzia bene e chiaro i vari particolari in base al suono in corso. Non mi espongo riguardo al DTS 2.0 in quanto è la stessa traccia che fece la Dynit in occasione del loro Bluray. Se siete amanti della serie di GITS questa edizione non vi deluderà.

Ogni mia parola e' piccola e insulsa davanti a questa Meravigliosa Opera Artistica,ricordo ancora la prima volta che la vidi e poseggo l'originale anche in VHS.
Questa edizione ,a mio avviso,sarebbe stata giusta in steelbook ma pazienza....

Un capolavoro. Per gli appassionati del genere non può mancare nella propria collezione. Versione 4k a due dischi.

Il film è proprio bello ma in bluray non vale la pena

Ho trovato questa occasione ed ho pensato di coglierla perché il prezzo era proprio basso. Tuttavia la qualità video del film di animazione non è sensibilmente migliore rispetto al DVD. Credo di poter dire che non vedo cambiamenti. Ho notato che si è obbligati a vedere diverse promo di altri film di animazione, non appena inserito il disco nel lettore e prima di arrivare al menù del film ma forse se tratta di un'anomalia relativa al mio lettore.

Metto 5 stelle per il capolavoro che è ma credevo di aver acquistato la steelbook vedendo immagine e recensioni e invece mi è arrivato in un cofanetto di plastica, brutta.

Comprato per curiosità perchè possiedo già la versione blu-ray. Ho percepito maggiore senso di profondità e colori più decisi. Il prezzo era contenuto quindi mi ritengo abbastanza soddisfatto

Capolavoro dell'animazione giapponese!

Questo è un altro di quei film da avere se si ama un certo tipo di cinema di fantascienza, d'animazione e non. Da qui prenderanno spunto tantissimi grandi registi di Hollywood e da cui soprattutto ha preso spunto Matrix. Davvero un capolavoro assoluto diretto magnificamente e con dei disegni che fanno brillare gli occhi ancora oggi per la loro bellezza. Da vedere e rivedere! L'edizione Dynit come al solito è una garanzia sia lato visione che audio, inoltre la scatola contiene un libricino che spiega in maniera egregia l'importanza di questo film nel panorama cinematografico davvero ottimo! Peccato la custodia sia arrivata leggermente rovinata in un punto, per il resto tutto ottimo!

Vivid visuals. Relentless storytelling and animation that stuns from the start. Well worth the trip especially since the disc included Japanese audio and english subtitles.... I highy recommend.

La pelicula llego en buenas condiciones y en la fecha esperada, a continuacion explicaré el doblaje, la pelicula NO tiene el doblaje original, pero aun asi no esta tan malo el que tiene, a mi me surgio una duda y era si venia en doblaje latino y para mi sorpresa me encontre dos productos uno con la pelicula de ghost in the shell solamente y otro con la pelicula y contenido especial, compre la pelicula con contenido especial con valor de 270 pesos y SI viene en español, cosa que no puedo decir de la otra ya que no la he adquirido, asi que si quieres esta pelicula en español tienes que llevar la que tiene el contenido especial con valor de 270 pesos

個人的に90年代と言えば、エヴァ、lain、GHOST IN THE SHELL/攻殻機動隊は別格だと思ってます。
この作品はアニメの中でも頭一つ抜けた作品です。
原作も勿論、読みましたが原作はコミカルな面もあり意外とノリも軽めですが、こちらは徹底的にシリアスとなっています。
ストーリーは原作1巻をモデルとしています。
作画も当時としては凄いと思いますし、何よりこの時代はPCの普及率も低い中、よくここまでの設定とストーリーを作り出せるなと驚きました。
今観ても全く見劣りしないと思いますし、話は難解ですが、考察しがいもあり最高の作品です。
特に素子vs戦車は今でも通用しそう。
とにかく一度観てみて損はないと思います。

There are plenty of half-baked (and fully baked) analyses of the deeper meanings behind this film (and its associated series, the Stand Alone Complex 1st and 2nd Gig/Solid State Society etc) that aren't really worth reprising. Suffice to say that the GitS milieu is a future world with national rivalries still going on while society itself is ever more merged by connected cybersystems and modified individuals capable of tapping into the big data that underpins society, all the while questioning what it means to be human to an ever greater degree. In amongst this there are individuals intent on everything from petty crime to grand criminal acts, who are unafraid to subvert and exploit systems and people (to the extent of "hacking" individuals) to pursue their schemes.

A crack team of modified intelligence operatives is directed by a task force (Section 9, that perhaps occupies a similar space to MI6 but without the subtlety) to engage a criminal mastermind known as the Puppet Master, and this process eventually reaches a showdown in a deserted part of town.

Part of the fun of the journey through the plot is all the tech that is used, from thermal masking to the cyber-implants grafted into the team themselves, as well as into the back-office staff who run operations in real-time (fabulous modified hands, etc). This all adds to a sense that tech really is taking over, and a lot of the team's more philosophical interludes focus on this tension between the biological/spiritual and the tech. Nevertheless it is all used to make progress in the investigations into hackings, killings, and betrayals.

A key attraction of anime to me is the sense of observation that goes into the animation. The best anime will incorporate details that seem obvious but which are phenomenally easy to overlook if you were trying to recreate a cartoon scene for yourself (such as rain running along cables and dripping from the low points). The result is often deceptively simple scenes that feel real and which you feel you're inhabiting, and when the story stops itself for a moment and launches into a scene that re-immerses you into the city, or setting up for a key moment such as interception of a vehicle and setting up the snipers and road blocks, there's a tremendous sense of place. It takes a gutsy director to stop the action for a five-minute tour of a city (to some tremendous music by Kenji Kawaii) that is so utterly immersive that it creates a spell of its own, or to show the minutiae of establishing a road block and the teams moving into position. This is where I think GitS scores big - it sets convention aside and tells its story in its own distinctive style. If you get along with that style you'll be thrilled (you must like detail, and prepare to be confused for a while until things become clear), but it isn't for everybody.

It is moderately "grown up" anime, and while it isn't especially cerebral along the lines of later anime productions, it does make some interesting concepts about human/machine integration come to life, as well as telling a rapid-fire story of espionage and intrigue as it goes.

This film was given a mild makeover years later, to appear as Ghost In The Shell 2.0 Redux [DVD ] which was a better buy since it contains not only the made-over movie, but this original version too. There have been some complaints about the transfer of the old movie in the Redux set, but my copy looked okay to me, with the (extremely minor) anime glitches showing up in both versions.

Moving on to the second movie, Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence [DVD ] is not such a great idea plot-wise. The animation is superb, as usual, but the plot is at once pointless and flat while in parts it is actually ludicrously overblown. For me, the best part of the GitS system of films and episodes (the Stand Alone Complex sets) is this very first movie, either in its original form or with the mild makeover.
